While there are many things we as a country have not yet agreed upon, there are some that are not only science but fact that we will all support, if and when they are modeled / structured / presented the right way.
Fact 1. The world and our voting population are looking for resolution of this climate problem or at least the appearance that the conversation can steer toward a positive conclusion.
Fact 2. We are great at inventing and producing new equipment and technology. We have always been highly resourceful and we get the job done when the challenge is set.
Fact 3. We look positively at the export of and income from our materials, produce and technology.
Anyone who can drive this with positive, constructive, commercial, profitable momentum in the coming months doesn't need to play such political games as have been exhibited recently.
Position yourselves alongside a solution, of whatever description and get involved.
We want hope.
We want an end to the global warming fear campaigns.
We have always rallied toward positive outcomes, and supported them.
Get out of the blame game completely. I don't care if this is anthropogenic or man made global warming if my Prius only costs me $10 per week in fuel and our National consortium is employing thousands and exporting technology worldwide for $Billions and our coal emission statistics begin to reduce. With these we have three clear forms of action that people can feel in their hip pocket, read and hear in the news and invest into and hope for in their futures. Make the argument about me and I promise to show some interest.
This whole argument probably only has a life of 10-20 years before the global community has reconciled either its actions or expectations. Why not play like a liberal and make some money and rebuild some pride and self belief for the country. Why not win!
Tony is interested in clean and efficient technology that we can all use as the planet becomes more densely populated than it is today. His expertise is with systems design and process efficiencies in the information and construction industries. See more at http://www.tophomestuff.com
