Okay, this is a basic search engine optimization guide. When someone puts in a search query into a search engine such as Google, they are looking for that keyword. There are billions of webpages, so Google tries to find the most relevant information that match your search query. Lets put in Boise Dentist. Now, there are 241,000 competing pages that have the term Boise Dentist. These are the things that Google looks at. What an SEO specialists job is to make your website accessible to search engines.

They do this by first, the title tags. The title tags are located at the top of the internet browser. This is what shows up in the blue link of the search engines. So the title tag right here is Boise Dentist Family Implant Snoring Sleep Apnea and Sedation. So the first thing you're going after is Boise Dentist. The next thing and this does make a difference is how it is titled or how it is they have searched first like Boise Dentist, now the reverse. If they can't find enough information, they ll go reverse Dentist Boise and watch how the difference in page rank is now, super pages is number one position and northwest is two and now boiseDentist.com is third.

So its stuff to keep in mind, okay. The next thing that the search engines look for is content the content of the page and you can go right here to cached and see it highlights the terms that you have put in. So you have Boise here, so when the search engines, they're called spiders basically come out and they crawl your pages.

so, they see Boise Dentists and Boise Dentists and Boise all in the content of the page. when they put this information together between the title tags and between the content of the page, they sort this as a page that is about Boise Dentists.

The next thing is your back links. The more back links you have, each back link is like a vote in Googles eyes. So the more votes you have, the more relevant your site is and the higher ranking your site is. The easiest way to go ahead and find out your back links is just put your domain name in parenthesis in the search engine.

Lets look at a site that I optimized for Nampa plumbers. It is right here on third position and the same thing. So we have Nampa plumbers in the title tags and Nampa Plumbing and then the URL. The URL also is used in deciding what relevancy there is.

So just having the URL plumbersnampa.com helps a lot in search engine optimization.
