Well, today I want to share 5 more ways that you can increase your influence in the online marketing arena.

So let's get right to it.

  1. Go the Extra Mile

Many people today just want to do the minimum or as little as possible to get by. But who wants to follow someone who does that?

By going the extra mile you will show others that you are willing to do what it takes to succeed regardless of how difficult it is or if it takes more effort. People will respect that and respond to it by allowing you to lead them.

  1. Be Known as the "Go To Guy"

The "go-to-guy" is the guy you go to when you need something done and need to know it will get done. This is precisely who you want to be.

People want to know that when they ask someone to do something, they will do it and do it well, and in some cases will even go the extra mile

By being that person, people will learn to rely on you, and then trust you, then respect you, and then listen to what you have to say. Thus you will gain influence in their lives.

  1. Be Generous

Give, give, and give some more. This means your time, talent, resources, and money. Don't be stingy with any of those because people will notice if you are.

When you are willing to give of yourself, people take notice of your generosity. They recognize that you are not all about yourself and that you want to help others.

You will see, that when you are generous, both those you help, and those that notice you doing so will begin to allow you to lead them.

  1. Know More Than Others, But Don't Be a Know-It-All

Everyone wants to follow someone who knows more than them, but no one wants to follow someone who thinks he is always right.

Make sure that you can teach those that are following you. This will mean that you need to continue to learn yourself and pass on your new wisdom and insight to those you lead. Followers are always looking to learn from their leaders.

Be careful here though and don't come across like you know everything and that you are always right. Take care to respect and value other opinions, and when you are wrong, don't be afraid to admit it.

  1. Deliver the Goods and Get the Job Done

In the end, people want to see results. If you say you are going to do something, do it. Do every bit of it. And then make sure that you over deliver too.

People are looking for leaders who will actually lead them. A good sign that a leader will do that is if they are consistently "getting the job done." So make sure you are doing so.

Well that is the end of the list on how to increase your influence. I recommend that you put these to practice immediately and do not wait. The impact that these will have on your business and in your life will be amazing.
