Why Are HP Computer Cases So Popular?

One of the most common computer cases these days is the HP computer case, however often times the computer inside is not a Hewlett Packard Product. What makes the HP case such a popular choice? The HP computer cases sell better than actual HP Pcs. Though it appears to be strange, when you look at the cases themselves, the reasons are easily understood.

HP Makes Durable Cases

A HP computer case is like putting an armored tank around your PC essentials. If you were to use an HP case as a work table it would hold up to wear and tear admirably. But, if you have a solid sturdy case you should definitely put it to work as it was intended not as a table. HP cases are built to last.

Another point is that the cases are attractive to look at.

Quite attractive. It’s that minimalist design. With most HP cases being black and gray the simple stylized look of these cases is easy on the eye. This simplicity can even be seen in HP's logos. Some manufacturers choose to include pictures and elaborate fonts in their logos, so the simplicity of the good old fashioned H and P is a nice change of pace from the "More is More" philosophy of many computer case makers.

HP computer cases are tightly sealed.

Any spills that occur on the case will not affect the computer. If you have a cheap case, if you bought some generic brand plastic shell to put over an otherwise excellent custom made computer, then you’re probably going to be buying a new computer. With a HP case, you will need to use towels to clean up any spills, but the enclosed computer will be untouched by the spill, so you will not have to worry. Ever wanted to put a crack in the body of an HP case? It’s not easy. These things are so tight that you could probably safely use it as a coffee table with no problem (not that we’d ever recommend that, of course).

Efficiency is the middle name of HP cases.

The style of the HP case is in the minimalist design. Some manufacturers are so committed to making stylish fashionable cases that they forget that someone has to use this case in their day to day life. Many companies design their computer cases with all sorts of odds and ends and bells and whistles sticking out in every possible direction. HP designs their cases to slide right under your desk with no fuss or muss. We would be able to buy computers with matching cases, if all computer manufacturers made their cases by the same design principles as HP.

Also, another important fact that should be mentioned...

HP has great marketing, and they’re a huge company, there, we said it. Just as their designs are fluid and minimal, the advertising you see for HP is also understated and to the point. HP doesn’t throw one TV commercial in your face after another, they just let the product do the talking and advertise just enough to raise brand awareness without making you sick and tired of it. Over the last ten or so years, a few companies went out of business in the computer industry, partly because of overly aggressive ad campaigns. As with the design of their cases, HP plays it cool in regards to marketing.
