File encryption or data encryption is a process of transforming your confidential information into an unreadable format which cannot be accessed without correct password or key. It is used in the field of Cryptography which is the science of information security. Asymmetric algorithm requires two different keys which are mathematically interrelated but cannot be derived from one another. One key is used for encrypting data while the other key is used to decrypt the encrypted data or information.
