Would you like to be able to get the price that you want for your high price products, and earn money from eBay? I bet you do, so follow the 4 tip´s below and you will not go far wrong.

  1. Price. To get the best price for your high price product, you will need to present it in the best way possible by using the best possible photo´s. It may be worth your while to have them professionally taken so that the product will look like it is worth the price that you are hoping to get for it.

Next you need to give the product a great description, pointing out the benefits of it, listing them one by one. Also explain why your product is better than a similar product at a smaller price than yours to get people to want it more than the other one.

Decide what the minimum price is that you are willing to accept for your product and set that as your reserve price and do not start the bidding too high. Don´t forget that people buy on eBay because they are looking for a bargain.

If people quickly see that other people are bidding for it, they will have to bid higher if they want a chance of getting it, and you stand a better chance of achieving your target price for it.

  1. Insurance. As your product is a high price one, it is wise to recommend that your customer takes out shipping insurance, in case the product gets damaged in shipping. Explain that you will take all necessary precautions, making sure that the product is well packed and protected, and that you will not be responsible for damage once it has been sent, point out that this is their responsibility.

Take pictures of your product from all angles to show them that it is in good condition, and take the time to explain the packaging that you intend to use, such as bubble wrap, and the type of box that you will be sending it in. This will help to give the customer the confidence to go ahead with their purchase.

  1. Guarantees. Give the customer a guarantee that the product will be as described and in good and working condition, and offer to give them their money back if it is not so. So you had better be very careful of how you describe it and again remind them to purchase shipping insurance to be sure that it is covered for damage in transport. This again will give the customer peace of mind.

  2. International shipping. Do some research before you decide to offer an international service. There are many fraudulent buyers out there, who will try and get their money back even if the product is in perfect condition, particularly outside the U.S.A. There may even be some countries that you may want to avoid doing business with. eBay can help you with this research.

It may be well worth your while to protect yourself by getting some insurance to cover you in the event of something going wrong.

Follow these 4 tip´s and you will be well on the way to becoming an eBay power seller, getting the price that you want for your high priced product and earn money on eBay.

Here´s to your success,
