You can literally keep them at your fingertips. If you are cooking, you can lean over and harvest a little for your meal. You do not have to outside and weather a potential storm to gather your bounty. The same convenience is true if you have a project where you want to dry out or freeze some herbs for future use. Also, you do not have to worry about nature. Winterizing is not an issue as the plants are indoors. The same is true for too much rain damaging your plant.

The herb kit has gotten your foot in the door to herb gardening. The herb kit removed a lot of the difficulties, but it is you who gained the knowledge and remained consistent and prevailed.
