How Can the 80/20 Rule Help Your Business?

The Pareto principle states that for many events, roughly 80% of the effects come from 20% of the causes. And it was named after Italian economist Vilfredo Pareto. He observed in 1906 that 80% of the land in Italy was owned by 20% of the population and that 20% of the pea pods in his garden contained 80% of the peas. It is a common rule of thumb in business that 80% of your sales come from 20% of your clients. He developed both concepts in the context of the distribution of income and wealth among the population.

The 80/20 principle has proven in business and economics that the majority of results come from a small minority of causes or effort. It does not mean, though, that the 80/20 numbers are accurate. It could be 90/5 or 70/30.

This is a very powerful rule that should not only be used in business, but in life. You should learn to focus your attention on the "vital minority" in order to live the 80/20 lifestyle so that you can accomplish more with less!

You have heard it before; great reward comes from serious effort. It is good advice and it usually works, but it is too much effort and the trouble is that most don't get into the correct habits. I know because I have experienced it! Have you?

Do you want to discover a way to do less and get more? More love, success and wealth? It would be great, right?

The thing is that, there IS actually a program!

The 80/20 RULE!

80% of our profits come from 20% of customers or products; we wear 20% of our clothes, 80% of the time. And so on?

In order to improve their position, businesses know that they can improve their profits enormously by concentrating on the key 20% of activities.

People should do the same thing in their lives!

We can make our lives extremely better by doing less! But you need to do less of the things that do not work well for you and more of the things that will be most effective for your business! Not busy work!

Just think like this: If you had a heart attack, and only had 2 hours per day, what would you do? What are the most important activities that will bring you money?

Start thinking like that and you will start on a whole new path in your life where less is more! And a whole lot more free time!

Learn how to use the Pareto Principle, or the 80/20 Rule to accomplish more in business and in life. At the same time, make more money by discovering what 20% of your actions make 80% of your money.
