If you've ever played Robert Kiyosaki's Cashflow game, one of the things you learn from it is the possibility of turning real estate into positive cash flow. And while most people think this is not a smart field to be delving into at the moment, they couldn't be more wrong. It's precisely this reason that this is a field ripe with opportunity at the present, if you know what you're doing. Frequently this where people underestimate the power of entrepreneurship; it is often thought of as something that must be new (which it can be of course), but entrepreneurship is also the practice of finding opportunity where others don't . And if you're smart, you can turn that into significant cash flow and RESIDUAL INCOME.

Now this piece isn't designed to convince you to go buy some property, but I do want to point out the similarities between network marketing and the real estate industry. (You'll see why. ) With both industries it is feasible to generate residual income; and with both you need one thing to continue prospering: a LIST. This is more important than all your other efforts with social media or content marketing or videos combined. All that makes no difference if you aren't able to create a list of folks who want to follow you and listen to what you have to say.

Then from this point you can leverage that list of people through email, your blog and your other social networks to expand. Now- how do you begin building that list?

There are 2 types of marketing that work best for this

  1.  Interruption marketing- this is when you're looking for a subject and  another one pops up and completely distracts you yet you still view it.
    
  2.  Search marketing- when someone is searching for something in particular, in a field you know something about. This person is much more prepared to buy and thus a better possible customer or partner. 
    

Now, the second is far more effective -so how do you get more people to find you in search marketing? You can use pay-per-click, of course, which could be the smartest way to go about it-but if you're determined to do this without spending any money you could use something like ViralURL, Listbuilders, or of course content marketing. And crucial to getting any search traffic with the last of these is finding the right keywords.

Without good keyword research, you are just spinning your wheels.

In fact you may as well take a break from your marketing efforts and go do something else until you decide to research this subject more thoroughly.
