No relationship is perfect. You and your ex can testify to that fact. But you always found a way to work it out or at the very least agree to disagree. Those moments were small in comparison to all the good times the two of you had together.

Unfortunately those days are over and so is the relationship. At this point you are not sure what to do next. You know you want your ex back. That's a given but you are not sure how to go about it.

There are all kind of things to consider when trying win your ex back but the one that has to be at the top of the list is how your ex feels about reuniting. It's no good if they are not wiling to meet you half way. You cannot control that but you can try to work on some things which can put you on the right path.

1. No Pressure

Pursuing your ex incessantly to show how much you love them may look good in the movies but in real life not so much. They already know how you feel about them and not giving them space to work things out is not a good idea.

2. Concentrate On You

What went wrong between you and your ex? Give it some thought but don't go overboard. Instead do what you have to do to get healthy mentally and physically. Go out with friends exercise, or find a new hobby. It's okay to get selfish for awhile.

3. Watch Yourself

You may hear through mutual friends that your ex is seeing someone new. Or you may find out for yourself. Take it easy. Your ex needs time away from you and if they decide to go out with someone else so be it. You don't own them and vice versa. That may sound reasonable but your emotion may try to convince you of something different. It is essential that you keep your feelings in check.
