Any journey which is more than 4-5 hours will make you uncomfortable. It is really necessary for a passenger to keep themselves relaxed and comfortable while traveling long distance. Traveling in a long distance flight is uncomfortable because it binds at a fixed place for several hours. Anyone feel choked if he will be confined to a small area.
Here with the help of this article you will get to know how to spend time during long flights comfortably. First of all you have to pay attention on your attire. You will think how come attire makes a difference. It is very important to dress in comfortable clothes. Avoid wearing tight clothes as they are not very comfortable and you will feel uneasy after 2-3 hours. So wear loose fitted clothes and be relaxed.
Plan your schedule in such manner that you don’t have to rush for flight. If you will reach airport little early then you can make yourself relaxed and stress free which will let you enjoy your journey. Once you board the flight be seated at your place and adjust things to make yourself relaxed. Prefer to get seats in front row or just outside the cockpit. This will give you more leg space and you will feel comfortable.
After making your place comfortable, drink a glass of water. This is very important to keep yourself hydrated. As you go up, the air pressure will be higher so remember to drink lot of water while you are on a flight. Eat less in a long flights, however you will feel hungry lots of time but avoid the junk food. Try to keep protein bars, chocolates and dry fruits with you as these are rich source of protein and will provide you instant energy.
People who love reading can carry their favorite books to spend their idle time. They can also carry some good magazines. Those who are not really fond of reading can carry i-pod, mp3player, CD player and other things to entertain themselves in their leisure. But make sure that you don’t be seated at your place for a long time. This will choke the blood circulation and to avoid such situation you can walk around the aisle to freshen up yourself.
You can take a good nap while traveling in a long flight. This will not only cut down your idle time but will refresh you. Remember to use a soft pillow at your neck and back. This will help you to avoid aches. I will advise you to avoid low cost careers for long distance flights as these airlines always try to carry as many passengers as they can and to fix more seats they often reduce the leg space.
