No matter what product you are promoting, you can benefit from integrating technology into your display. Even if you are simply looking to streamline your lead generation, you can get lead tracking technology that makes organizing and prioritizing follow up much less of a headache. But the greatest potential of technology lies in its incorporation with trade show design. When used as part of trade show exhibits, new technology always makes a company stand out above its competition.

No Trade Show Exhibits Are Too Old

If you have been putting off addressing technology because you believe your display just can't support it, think again. Your old frame might not be able to handle the additional weight of a flat-screen TV, but that's far from the only option you have. You might ultimately decide that adding computer kiosks would be helpful, which is just a small financial outlay. The benefits of having technology are available to you without abandoning your current trade show design; you simply need to consider how you might make your trade show exhibits more modern with minor changes.

Using A TV For Marketing

A TV placed high above the crowd is possibly the best marketing tool currently available. Trade show design that incorporates a large screen will draw a lot of eyes and spread your company's product around the convention floor, even reaching visitors who have not come to your booth. However, these big setups can be expensive. For the largest TVs and projectors, companies must plan ahead and build the screen into their original exhibits.

For those with more limited budgets, adding a TV to your current trade show design will still create a big impact. Just ensure that your stand's structure can handle the weight before you add anything. If possible, consult the company that sold you the booth and ask their opinion on where you should place the TV. Make it as high up on the frame of your booth as possible for maximum effect. Once it is in place, consider what you'll show on it. You have two general options. First, you could show a silent commercial that advertises the product as you might advertise it on TV. Alternatively, you should show a repeating animation of your product functioning. The best choice typically depends on your product. If it's an exciting motion-based object, then an animation usually sells well. But if you're offering a service or a product that doesn't show immediate results, then displaying a silent ad above your display area will have a better effect. Just ensure that the ad communicates itself clearly despite being muted.

Adding A Computer To Your Trade Show Design

Whether you are a software company, an internet-based business, or even just want to offer impressive functionality that few booths will have, a computer or two makes a big difference. If you are debuting software, have as many computers as possible throughout your display area. Otherwise, ensure that users can connect with your company through social media, and be certain that computer placement doesn't conflict with the flow of your booth.
