We’ve always known that trainers shows that you knew about fashion and trends. But that is not the case these days because different brands are now portrayed as different styles and fashion. Before the days or smart casual shoes that look really good if I may say so and before pumps were anything but retro and old school, trainers were the foot wear for people to wear.

What has made trainers become a good or a bad item of clothing to wear for yourself is that image that each brand has developed and reborn you could say it has a very big impact on how they design their trainers and whom they associate their trainers with. Before people wore trainers every day and where ever they went they wore it. But today people have allocated time and where they will and where they wont wear the so called "trainers".

These days people will not wear their trainer foot wear when they go out shopping or if they are going on romantic walks or even when they are going on holiday. They think that other people will think of them as being a cheap looking guy that wears trainers every where because its cheap. That may not be the case because trainers are very comfortable to wear and they aren’t like other footwear that you have to drag with you.

You can still buy footwear trainers that will show smart on appearance these type are generally expensive and can be seen endorsed by celebrities. These days people tend to think negatively of you if you wear something that isn’t seen else wear and isn’t worn by celebrities even if it looks good people will judge the clothing by how it looks.

How ever as fashion itself develops into new avenues, remember the old plimsolls? I only remember then as we use to have to wear them at school, we had to change them after we got into school for hygiene reasons. We always thought how could these possibly be turned into something that people would spend money on and then wear them out in public. Well plimsolls are not like they use to be well not like they were roughly 10 years ago.

These days you can buy fashionable plimsolls designed by the best fashion designers from the world and even big brands are featuring them in their product catalogue. Prices have also changed for the upwards because someone has to be pay additional for the different patterned plimsolls that you can now buy. Before you had the black rubber type but these days they look a lot more trendy and fashionable. How ever the downsides with wearing plimsolls is that they are made from cloth so if you are wearing them in the rain there is a very high chance of you getting wet through socks because these plimsolls are yet to be made waterproof, the only point that has not been changed over the past decade about the plimsolls that is.
