Nowadays it is hard to keep up with the pace of everything.

Blogs, Facebook, Bing, Groupon, My Space, Digg, Twitter ... This list goes on.

Sometimes you reach overload. While some people don't I know personally I do.

Those of you that reach overload will benefit from creating your own free blog too. If you are not aware of what a blog is yet we will keep it as simple as possible. A Blog is basically a twitter style page with longer entries.

It is a good way to keep a personal journal about things happening in your life. Some people use it to talk passionately about hobbies they have. Some people use it to vent or rant and rave about things they hate. Some people use it to talk about their favorite sports teams. Basically, what you can use your free blog for is endless. How personal you let it be is entirely up to you.

Unlike the days past there are now plenty of places where you can get a blog entirely free and personalize it as much as you want. Some of these web sites don't allow you to personalize your free blog as much as others do. Some of them allow total customization. The one I found that works best for my needs as both a personal blogger and for my multiple online businesses is http://www.weblogs.in - It's entirely free and 100 % customizable.

Once you get a blog you are looking at the toughest part. Sure you knew what you wanted to blog about, right ? But ... putting those down and hitting the send button so the world can see it is pretty tough. My suggestion ?

Do not overthing things. Post from your heart. If you are posting about a product you sell be honest and talk about the benefit come across in a non confrontational way where the person will feel like they have lost out if they don't buy. If you are blogging abot something personal just put your thoughts down and hit send. The great part is you can always modify it later. I know I have some blogs I posted at sporadically over the last decade I find thoroughly enjoyable to go back over and look at how much of an idiot I was in my early 20's !!

The bottom line is creating a blog is a good way to express yourself on paper. You can sit there with your feelings or passions built up inside but I am telling you once you put them on paper or put them on a blog and share it with the world .... You will feel 1 million times better about yourself.

My next task ? I am going to start a personal improvement blog as I am at that point of life where my personal development is very important to me. I will be blunt and share my feelings - if people don't like them that is their choice. That's the beauty of the internet too. If you choose to you can keep your identity entirely anonymous and blog about your deepest and most taboo feelings or thoughts.

If you aren't blogging because you are lazy - don't worry I come from that nation called Procrasti as well, however I got around to it eventually and it felt good to let my personal feelings out even though I did it entirely anonymously.

P.S. I have also had some very successful blogs that made me money by blogging about products I truly believed in. Such as my current sales profession, in direct sales for DirecTV - which has led to sales. Just about anyone can utilize a blog and make it worthwhile.
