1. Folic supplementation for pregnant women

Lack of iodine for pregnant women can cause strumous, low thyroid function, abortion, stillbirth and congenital malformations.Pregnant women with Iodine deficiency syndrome also have pregnancy-induced hypertension, preterm premature rupture of membrane and the complications, who have higher ratio than pregnant women not lack of iodine .
