The core principle of attraction marketing is that it's all about branding yourself. There are millions of folks around the globe all trying to market their business. There are also many thousands of people all marketing the SAME business, often using the same websites or advertisements. As marketers this is bad news because how do you rise above all the noise? How do you convince prospects to actually join up with you rather than the next website on the search listings.

All the major companies that we know of use attraction marketing to some degree or another. Its no different for us as network marketers, we have to be branding ourselves and not our company in order to be successful.

By using the attraction marketing principles you establish yourself in such a way that you an authority in your particular niche. You will find you have prospects coming to you, rather than the other way round. They say that you never get a second chance to make a first impression, well that applies to business as well. It's important to give out the right image to potential prospects, so they will put their trust in you. As human beings, we like to do business with people that we like and trust, so as marketers we want to form relationships with our prospects BEFORE we ask them to buy from us.

When you come to my blog, or sales funnel capture page I want you to think to yourself 'yeah this guy knows what he's talking about, I'd actually like to get more info from him, so I'll give him my name and email address'. Then after you go into my sales funnel, by using Attraction marketing and giving you lots of valuable training & information, you might then think 'yeah, I'd like to do business with this guy at some point'.

It's all about earning the respect of your prospect, rather than trying to just immediately sell them on something (no one likes that).

There are many ways to brand yourself online. Setting up your own blog will go a long way to branding yourself as a leader in the industry, since I set up my own blog my results have more than doubled. You might also want to think about making use of some of the popular social networking sites. There are plenty of them to choose from, some you might want to use are YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, MySpace etc...

Articles and video are also very useful for creating your online presence, they are also great for lead generation. When someone reads or watches your content, they are all ready pre sold on you even before they arrive at your website.

Now look, I know that if you're new to marketing online, you are probably thinking right now that it all sounds great but how the heck can you create a blog, write articles, give value to your prospects etc. Well luckily there's such a thing as an Attraction Marketing system, that will essentially do all of the necessary branding for you, plus it's easy to set up. Whether you are experienced or not, I'd recommend taking a look at such a system and using it in your business.
