Grilled peppers are the perfect side dish to many meals. Grilled peppers are usually soft with a sweet and savory taste.

You can grill your peppers on a gas grill or on a charcoal grill. First, you will want to take your peppers and rinse them off. You will want to grill your peppers directly on the grill over high heat. Put your peppers on the grill for five minutes per side.

The peppers should be on the grill for a total of ten minutes. Once ten minutes has passed, allow the peppers to sit for 15-20 minutes in a bowl with a lid over top. The steam in the bowl will help make the skin of the peppers loose.

You can then peel off the skin if you would like. Some people prefer to leave the skin on for added flavor. Your last step is to cut off the stem of the peppers and scrape out all of the seeds.

You can grill all types of peppers. Bell peppers just happen to be one of the best peppers to grill.

Here is a great recipe for grilled peppers:

Ingredients

2 red bell peppers, sliced in quarters

2 green bell peppers, sliced in quarters

4 tablespoons red wine vinegar

2 tablespoons of chopped red onion

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

4 minced garlic cloves

Pinch of pepper

You will first need to preheat your grill. While the grill is heating up, you will want to combine the Dijon mustard, chopped onion, chopped garlic, and a pinch of pepper in a mixing bowl.

Once you have placed these ingredients in the bowl, you will want to mix them all together with a spoon. Place your bell peppers on the grill.

Your next step is to brush the peppers delicately with the mixture. Once your peppers are lightly brown on one side, flip them over, apply the mixture to the fresh side, and allow them to brown on this other side.

Once they are finished cooking on the grill, you can serve them hot or cold. This grilled pepper recipe goes really well with a savory steak.

I hope my tips and recipe can help you improve your cooking skills. If you are looking for more Bell Peppers Recipes and cooking tips, or just want to share your own experience, visit Stuffed Bell Peppers. Bon Appetit!
