So you desire to know how to continually be composed, cool, and relaxed in all situations and atmospheres? We have some tips for you on attaining that assertive self-esteem that puts you on top.

Visualize yourself as a Dart Board, and all else around you could be as the darts. Some of those darts could bring you down in ways you wont even recollect. However, the good thing from here on out is that you will know which darts to steer clear of.

The Darts

  1. Undesirable Work Environment

Be careful of the dog eat dog theory where everybody thinks hostility towards each other will get them forward. That is where the non-appreciative people regularly thrive. They wouldn’t know how to understand your respected contributions. You might even work too much without help from those who concern. That kind of environment is unnecessary. Competition is at stake anywhere. Be healthy enough to contest, but be sure it’s a healthy competition.

  1. Other’s Behavior

Bulldozers, brown nosers, gossipmongers, whiners, backstabbers, snipers, people walking wounded, naggers, complainers, exploders, manipulators, patronizes, etc. A lot of people may be emitting bad vibes and you just might be in range. You don’t need any of that. Surround yourself with those who’s vibe you appreciate.

  1. Shifting your Environment

You can’t be a green bug on a brown field. Changes challenge paradigms. Become flexible, practice your flexibility; it will ensure your growth. Some changes may throw you off sometimes, but only until you master the new environments. Change will remain eternally, be sure to mature from it.

  1. Past Experiences

Everyone experiences pain, its okay. Just don’t let the pain convert into a fear because how you handle it is what really counts. You must grow from it and learn from your familiarity or else it was just a waste of time. Any failures or mistakes are only lessons for success.

  1. Negative World View

Look at what you are looking at. Don’t wrap yourself up in all of the world’s negativities. In order to build your esteem, you must make the best even out of the worst.

  1. Willpower Theory

The way you are and your behavioral traits is said to be a product of your genetics, your upbringing and your surrounding environment such as your spouse, company, economy, etc. However, you have your own identity. Create your own self. Determination and persistence is what it takes to overcome resistance.

Sometimes you may wonder if people are born leaders or optimistic and positive thinkers. Nope, Being positive and staying positive is actually a choice. Building your self-esteem and driving yourself for improvement is a choice, not a rule or talent. Only you can decide for yourself to become the best.

Constructing your esteem will ultimately lead to your development as you become more accountable for who you are, what you have and what you do. It is like a flame that regularly spreads like a brush fire from inside and out. As we progress our esteem, we take control of our mission, values and discipline. Self-esteem brings about advancement, true assessment, and determination. So how do you start building yourself up? Positivity and happiness all contribute. Be approving, never missing an opportunity to congratulate. A positive way of living positively improves the way you see yourself.
