All women have individual tweaks and twirls that make their body a completely different system from everyone else. The female human body remains as individual as the fingerprint. This very characteristic of pregnancy is the very reason why every pregnancy should be treated like the unique experience it actually is. The changes to the body are different. The level of pain and discomfort will be different. It could be anything, but there will be a difference. No two will be exactly the same. One pregnant lady's dramatizations of one nine month process could very well be the miraculous journey of another. So goes many a great story but irrelevant none the less.

Certain women claim to feel the precise moment of conception. While, other women claim to just know the exact moment of conception. Just as ironically, there are some females who appear to be completely oblivious to the whole pregnancy process until they are being transported to the delivery room. The variety of signs and symptoms associated with pregnancy vary far and wide. Therefore, it is not so far-fetched to see how a female can get her signs and signals confused.

Developing a reliable knowledge base about what your body does and how it responds routinely is a great asset to any female, particularly the menstrual cycle. However, there is still an element of hit and miss with this particular sign and symptom. The pregnancy is still not necessarily a guarantee. This is because there are some women who do not experience regular monthly periods. Hence, a missed period may not necessarily send off any red flags.

Spotting is another rather misleading sign of pregnancy. A woman could very easily consider spotting to be just the blessings of a light period. However, it could also be the body's way of saying we are at the earliest stages of the process of having a new baby. Because spotting can be easily confused with a light period, this particular sign or symptom could easily be overlooked. Besides a pending birth, there are other factors that may contribute to an absent or extremely light period, such as food consumption, drug usage, and stress related factors. Therefore, the lack of a period may be a symptom of early pregnancy for some but not others.

Hence, a female breast behaves as one of the messengers carrying some of the first signs and clues of the new pregnancy. This becomes especially true for pregnant females. Breast sensitivity for a pregnant woman can certainly range from uncomfortable to excruciatingly painful. The slightest stimulation, even from clothing, can be a torturous experience for a newly pregnant female. Do keep in mind that this is not a fool proof clue to pregnancy. There could be other reasons for a female to experience breast sensitivity. One such example is a food allergy.

Morning sickness comes in the form of nausea or vomiting. Favorite foods are now a matter of conflict. The taste and smell of familiar favorite entrees now generate ill-feeling and violent expulsions. Morning sickness is also not a stickler for routine. A pregnant female can be spontaneously affected at any point of the day or night.

Another signal for pending birth is fatigue. Most women find that their energy level all but disappears. Everyday activities become overwhelming. Excessive fatigue is one of the more tormenting of established signs and symptoms. The constant urge to urinate always haunts a pregnant woman. The frequent bouts of discomfort and cramping may also be a clue that there is a pending pregnancy. However, these signs and symptoms are not written in stone and could clearly be signs and symptoms for other existing or developing medical conditions.

These early signs of pregnancy can be misguiding due to the possibility of other medical conditions besides pregnancy. This is why a female's personal experiences and knowledge can help her detect tiny changes occurring within her body at an early stage of the pregnancy. The over-the-counter pregnancy test or a visit to a doctor’s office remains the most reliable ways to detect your pregnancy in its earliest stages. This is why these clues of early pregnancy are just that, clues. They are signs and symptoms of other medical conditions, in addition to pregnancy.
