Top Undergraduate Courses for Studying in Australia

Australia is always a popular destination to study amongst students all over the world. There are number of top notch universities in Australia and renowned all over the world for providing quality education. The universities and colleges in Australia provide number of courses to choose from giving ample options to students to choose from and that is one the reason for number of students coming to study in Australia. Having such a large number of courses despite of that there are a few courses that are very popular amongst students then other courses.

There a few courses which are much more in demand than other courses and demand in industry for such courses is quite high. It is very important for students to choose a right college or university and similarly it is equally important to select a right course as that plays crucial role in shaping students career. There are few popular undergraduate courses which have a good demand in industry and hence promise a good career in future.

There are three different levels of courses available at under graduate level they are diploma level, associate degree level and bachelor’s degree level. Diploma level courses are for shorter duration while associate degree level courses and bachelor’s degree course are for 2-3 years duration and where students undergo detailed study of the subject they have chosen. In the year 2007 26.55% students of the total enrolled for undergraduate courses have opted for management field. As per the stats most of these candidates were female. Management study is the third most popular field amongst international students and about 53.28% of international students were enrolled in the same field.

Society and Cultural studies Society and cultural studies is the second most demanding streams in undergraduate courses. As per the stats more than 160,000 students or more than 21% of total students enrolled for undergraduate courses enrolled under the same field. The popularity amongst the international students is very high and more than 30% of international students enrolled for undergraduate courses in the area of society and cultural studies. This stream is one of the most promising streams for a good career.

Health Sciences Amongst the popular streams for under graduation health sciences comes on the third spot. As per the reports 101,000 students enrolled under health sciences stream and this include more than 12% of total students who enrolled for under graduate courses. Adding more to this figure more than 70% of the students enrolled under this stream are female students which signifies the popularity of the course amongst female students. In the year 2008 the figure is raised up to 18% and this stream have become the second most popular stream amongst students.
