Individuals and companies are always looking to maximize profits and they might have just hit the jackpot by making money with affiliates.

You can't turn around without another company incorporating an affiliate program in their sales funnel.

It doesn't hurt to leverage other people's time and talents.

Amazon's success can be directly attributed to the fact that they have a great affiliate program. Practically every product on their site you can become an affiliate for and can earn a small profit for your efforts.

I love the fact that affiliate marketing allows both the product creator and product seller to both become successful.

The product creator gets a percentage of every product their affiliate driven sales force can make, and the product seller or affiliate is rewarded for selling more and more product.

Jean Paul Getty once said, "I would rather earn 1% off a 100 people's efforts than 100% of my own efforts."

There is so so much you can take from that quote. You can only do so much by yourself.

If you can duplicate yourself in terms of having affiliates selling your product for you, then think about your increased profits.

Think about what I am about to tell you. You have a level of expertise on a given subject.

You decide that you would like to create a product pertaining to your expertise on this given subject matter.

How much time does it usually take to write or build a product from nothing? 3 months, 4 months, 6 months.

No matter how long it takes you to create this new product, that is besides the point. Creating a product is one thing. Sales and marketing is an entirely different process.

The fact remains that affiliates don't have to create a product. You don't have to bother with packaging or shipping details or online delivery.

As an affiliate you are only concerned with one thing and that is how you are going to sell the product.

Affiliate marketing is only going to increase in the future as companies and individuals look for ways to sell their products, giving the affiliate many options to choose from in which products to promote.

There are so many affiliate programs, both online and offline to choose from, so which one is best suited for you?

I would just say make sure that the individual or company you are doing business with is reputable and will pay you when you've done your job of selling the product.

I love signing up for affiliate products at Clickbank.

They are only a digital marketplace, meaning they only deal with products that can be delivered electronically, like software and ebooks.

Clickbank has been in business for over 13 years and in all of that time they have never failed to make a payment to their affiliates.

Another great thing about Clickbank is that since the products can only be delivered electronically, the product owners offer unusually high commission rates, usually from 50-75%. There are over 16,000 products on the Clickbank site that you can sign up to promote, there should be no more excuses when it comes to what should you promote.

Making money with affiliates is just a strong business model to use.

If you would like more information on how you can get started making money as an affiliate there are a number of products available to help get you started.

One recommendation that will help you in your affiliate journey would be to try a free software program that helps you pick good affiliate programs in Clickbank called CB Surge. My name is Scott Albright and I am an affiliate marketer.
