We have seen business cards carrying the image of organization. We heard about flyers, brochures, booklets, and all are image carriers. Adding to these names, we have letterheads. And they are also considered as impression creators. Letterhead printing is an important mode of communication for the daily communication in any organization. They are used for internal, as well as, external communication. In fact, they are a necessity for the routine affairs.
Now one would be wondering, why are they image carriers? Anybody who would have a look at them would be able to form an opinion about the organization they belong to. In fact, these should be created in a simple manner. The emphasis should be on providing accurate details. So always mention your complete address along with phone numbers, fax numbers, email id, etc. Try to make it look simple but accurate.
Business logo is an important identity maker for any organization. Most of the times, any brand is recognized by its logo. Therefore, the use of logo in letterhead printing is unforgettable. It is the logo which will remind the recipient about the sending organization. The fonts to be used should be selected wisely. Do not choose them just because they are looking good. They should be selected on the basis of readability. Fonts with many curves are often difficult to read. And the size should not be too big to cover large space, nor should it be too small making reading difficult.
Use of colour should be matching perfectly with company’s colour scheme. Different colours show different images. For example, the colours like grey, rust are often associated with the bold and strong personality. Therefore their use should be made in printing for metallic industry. Use of wrong colours can be a mismatch with the personality of organization.
Just remember to create an immaculate appearance of these pages. And always keep the stock full, as they are needed everyday. For example, you can select the type of paper from smooth finish, laid finish or linen finish.
