Have you ever given thought to the process your bedding sets go through to finally reach your home to add colour, comfort and beauty to your bedrooms? Have you ever given a second thought to the creativity of the manufacturer, the new designs he may be sketching at this very moment for his next creation? Did you ever look up the history of linens and pillow cases and the evolution from the normal flat plain bed linens to where we are today with various kinds like the Egyptian cotton bedding?
The process of selecting the correct thread for the different tasks in hand goes a long way in the creation of beautiful linen. Whether it is bedding for babies, or fitted sheets for blankets and duvet sets, you can feel the difference in the final product. A great deal of thought and experience go into making each creation the best for its purpose. From the designer, manufacturer, thread weavers, garment staff, supervisors, managers, marketing managers, sales personals to the cashier of the store : the linen comes through many hands to finally reach its destination – your home. When selecting these carefully woven/stitched linens it is your duty to be careful in your selection, to match all linens used in your home with the other – beddings, to table clothes to curtains – by this careful selection not only do you add beauty to your home but you are also ensuring that the labour of everyone’s who has contributed to these products is not in-vain.
With as much love as babies are nurtured into adults, a great deal of care is given in the process where the individual threads are woven together to make beautiful linens.
