Overweight or obese persons are increasingly looking for the best ways to lose weight quickly without resorting to the dreaded bariatric surgery procedures. People are also interested in natural weight loss solutions which do not necessitate working out as their busy schedules may not have adequate spare time to accommodate such activities.

In the 50s, one Dr. Simeon, while researching on the relationship between hormone hCG (human chorionic gonadotropin) and the pituitary gland, discovered that hCG could be effective in weight loss. HCG is a naturally occurring hormone present in both men and women which is effective in stimulating the body to metabolize stored/accumulated fat for energy generation purposes. Accordingly, while other diets provide low calories which cause hunger pangs, HCG weight loss diets work on the principle that hCG alleviates these by triggering the burning of fats (and thus giving a feeling of fullness), ultimately resulting in weight loss.

Using hCG makes for a natural weight loss strategy because as earlier mentioned, hCG is a hormone which occurs naturally in the body. The hCG weight loss diet can indeed be described as supplementing a low calorie diet with hCG which is made available via injections or homeopathic sublingual drops or pellets. Back then when the hCG weight loss plan, also known as Dr. Simeon’s diet, was being developed in the fifties, only hCG injections were available. They were expensive, they elicited lots of speculation similar to other injectable medicines, and of course they were painful. As such, only a handful of people had access to or could afford hCG in order to lose weight quickly.

hCG pellets and drops, unlike injections, are non prescription meaning they can be sold anywhere. They are administered by placing a number of pellets or drops under the tongue for some thirty minutes before partaking of the diet. hCG weight loss therapy with pellets or drops is very simple and can be done virtually anywhere. As a natural weight loss strategy we should expect no side effects. In fact we should expect better health because other than helping one lose weight quickly, hCG products are normally supplied with extra nutrients such as but not limited to L-arginine for better hormone and blood sugar control, carnitine to increase fatty acids metabolism, and aceticum acidum which addresses anemia and weakness.

Despite the success of the hCG weight loss strategy, it is absolutely necessary to abide by the diet every step of the way otherwise it can prove to be a total waste of money and time. Also, despite it being a natural weight loss program, persons with underlying medical conditions should consult their doctors before taking to the hCG diet. There is plenty of info on the internet on how to lose weight quickly with hCG, and this includes diet recipes, do’s and don’ts, and even recommended sources of hCG products.
