If he does not seem interested in the products or services you are offering, you have to respect their decision and thank them anyway. Ask questions and sound natural

To generate sales leads, you have to ask meaningful questions that will illustrate problems that your clients may be experiencing. While your supervisor may ask you to follow a script, this does not mean that you have to sound like you really have one. Do your best in sounding natural because there is nothing worse than listening to someone who sounds like he is reading straight from a book.
