Testaments Are Agreements Are Covenants

Welcome to guidline number ten about how to study the Bible. This guidline is founded on clarity about the agreements betwixt Our Heavenly Father, and the families of certain people in the Bible. The contracts are named "covenants", but they are called too as "testaments".

"House" Means "Family"

A covenant, or a testament, is a deal between Elohiym and the descendants of some man. For example God made a covenant, or a deal, with the house of Noah. The word "house" is another word for spawn or descendants or family. Thus we can aver that Elohiym made a contract with the house of Noah.

These are basics we would do well to to be alert to, while we learn how to study the Bible.

Some Groups Kept Beneath The Earth In The Time Of The Great Flood

Some human beings declare, "But all folks alive are of the spawn of Noah." Yet their statement may not be truthful. The flood slew every living thing that was upon the Earth. The Hopi and the Navajo attest that they kept alive during the flood by being underneath the Earth, not atop it. Consequently, the testament with the spawn of Noah is not about the people, who are kin to the Hopi and the Navajo.

I must confess, in this instance, it doesn't matter with which spawn the agreement was contracted for the reason, that the nature of the agreement was concerning whole planet, the Earth.

From Where Came The Old Egyptians?

The Dogon say that the old Egyptians appeared emerging from the sea. If this is true, then the earlier Egyptians might have survived the flood by living beneath the ocean.

See now how you are learning how to study the Bible? In this manner, the early Egyptians wouldn't have been "upon the Earth". Also, they wouldn't have been of the family of Noah, and wouldn't have been heirs to the promises of Elohiym in Noah's covenant with Elohiym.

Now Comes The Counsel

Here is the clue about how to study the Bible: while you read, before you discover a testament-saga in your Holy Book, be aware whom YHVH is sealing the agreement with. Whom is Our heavenly father bequeathing his grants to, in each individual testament? The balance of your essay, herein, gives examples of a few, of the foremost contracts of The almighty, in your Holy Book, and enables you to be aware of them in your Holy Book.

God's Testament With Abraham

The almighty made a contract with Abraham, that Abraham's bloodline, through his son Isaac, would ever afterward dwell in the land between the Rivers Euphrates and Nile. By said contract everyone knows that the abiders in the same lands are of the family of Abraham, and the bloodline of Isaac.

The Old And The New Agreements

You probably already know that the Bible is segmented into the Old Testament and the New Testament. The Old Testament is the story of covenant, a testament, an agreement, between God and the spawn of a person named "Israel".

Who Are The Heirs Of The New Contract?

In the Book of Jeremiah, chapter thirty-one, verse thirty-one, Our heavenly father imparts, to us, that the New Contract is a covenant between him and the spawn of a bloke named "Israel". In that verse, the "House of Israel" means the northern kingdom, which was herded away by millions into the borderlands of Assyria, and eventually ended up in North America, South Africa, New Zealand, Europe, and Australia.

Our Heavenly Father's Agreement With David - Jesus Never Left

Elohiym made too an agreement with the House of David, that we shall ever have a man of the House of David as king. Some people assert that testament points to the king of England, but that can hardly be right, because there is no king of England as you read this. The ruler, of the House of David, is Jesus the Anointed, who never went away, but who disappeared and became unseen to a great number of people.
