Studies show that men’s skin is 15 years younger than women, however women religiously care for their skin, as result, the ’15 year’ skin age different is not readily noticed. A man’s skin is about 25% thicker and tougher then woman, how to take care of man skin is the question most men want to know.

Start simple. You can spend all the money on the most expensive skin care, but it won't really make much different compare to cheaper skincare. The relationship between price and effectiveness is not always clear, there are some great inexpensive products, or even no-cost ideas that work well for certain aspects. The key is, do the right way. So here are a few simple and easy to follow skin care tips for men.

Cleanse thoroughly. A good skin starts with good cleanser, men’s skin structure is different from women. After puberty, sebum production is greater in males than females, which is attributed to blackhead and acne. Invest in a good cleanser that suit your skin, a pH balanced cleanser would do a good cleansing job without dry the skin. Clean twice a day, avoid excessive cleansing would result in dryness & prone to skin problems.

Once in a week, do a deep cleansing by exfoliating/scrubbing to get rid of dead skin cell, men’s skin is tougher with more sebum production that always looks dull and lifeless. An exfoliant is a product or procedure that reduces the amount of dead cell build-up on the skin. Before you run out and buy a scrub, take the time to learn about all the exfoliating products. Physical scrub is the beads to remove all dirt and debris from the skin. It is safer than chemical scrubs containing salicylic acid, glycolic acid and other fruit acids that will cause skin irritations if not handle properly.

Men need a good toner. Some toner can be used as after-shave calming lotion that provides special care for soothing and toning pores and skin after shaving. Choose a non-alcohol toner to help soothe razor burn and irritation as most after-shave products contain alcohol which caused a drying effect on the skin. Some good ingredients are Aloe and herbal extracts such as Great Burdock provides a cooling, mentholated effect to just-shaved skin.

A good anti-aging moisturizer is a must for the every day skin care regimen. Regardless of age, men have a higher collagen density than women, sad to say that men are less sun savvy than women, meaning they don’t use moisturizer and protection, and could contribute to why the "15 year" skin age difference is not readily noticed because collagen content is directly related to the signs of skin aging.

Choose a good sun protection product with SPF20 and above and apply it regularly. UV damage from the sun can add years to a man’s skin and negate the benefit of slowed intrinsic aging.

Your skin health is a good indicator of overall wellbeing. The right care can improve it's support, elasticity, and shine. Some product comes with multiple-functions like Hue Floresta White-A-Fair Revitalising Treatment Essence, my link it is all in one after-shave toning, firming, moisturizing, skin brightening and more.
