It’s one of the most dangerous things to have the soap slip from your hand when taking a shower? You then have to stop, bend down and hope while you are getting up you don’t loose it again or slip and fall! This problem was brought to my attention when that happened to me recently resulting in a splintered shin bone. While recuperating I read in Google that falls in the bathroom occur an estimated 250,000 times to adults, 43,000 times to children every year and there is at least one death every day for that same reason.

This knowledge prompted me to create a convenient way to hold a bar of soap without it slipping from my hand or diminishing its washing power. After experimenting with a variety of configurations I succeeded in producing the ideal design for what I named the "Soap Safety Sack".

Next was finding the perfect material which would produce and maintain the right amount of lather for a superior body wash while preventing accidents and saving lives. I again went to Google and found a very unique material called "French Terry" which curiously is made from a type of bamboo grown in China with the exact porosity and exfoliation characteristics I wanted.

After producing a sufficient number of "sacks" I gave them to a variety of friends which included as many heavy, pregnant, disabled, and older people as I could find for testing. I also gave one to my father who has a very bad hand tremor due to an affliction called "Essential Tremor". All our testers confirmed the Soap Safety Sack worked exactly as we told them it would while being very convenient and a pleasure to use.

Google once again assisted in finding a manufacturing company who could use my chosen material, cut the parts, sew them together and package it to my specifications at a very competitive price. These again were thoroughly tested with for superior workmanship, attention to detail, superior cleansing and its required safety characteristics.

After applying for and receiving a "Patent Pending" approval from the US Government Patent and Copyright Office we introduced the Soap Safety Sack to the public.
