The procedure through which the pearly penile papules is removed is quite simple. First, the area to be treated is numbed with a local anesthetic, often Lidocaine and then the laser is placed on the papules, dissolving them. Although during the intervention you will not feel any pain because of the anesthetic, the recovery will be quite painful.

Swallowing and scabbed skin may appear after the treatment and it will take one or even two weeks until the skin will start looking normally. In all this time, the area will be painful and you will not be able to touch it in any way.

Post-surgery treatment will also be necessary in order to get over the pain and enhance the effects of the surgery. This means that in addition to the money you spent on the surgery you will also have to pay extra money for the post-operation treatment.
