Choosing the wedding photographer for your special day will be one of the most important choices you make . Choose the wrong one or worst still none at all and you could end up regretting it.

People spend a lot of time and money putting their wedding day together and making it perfect. From the dress you have looked long and hard for to the cake, flowers, and table decoration at the reception. All that effort you have put in over weeks and months is there for just one day so it would be a shame not to remember it the way it was after the event is over. That is why a good wedding photographer could be the best decision you make whilst arranging your special day. Do not forget what you are hiring a photographer to do. He or she is going to record FOREVER your whole day. When the wedding day is over the flowers have faded and the cake has been eaten what is left? That's right your memories. Your wedding photographs will still be there to show your grandchildren in years to come.

These days it is easy to think you do not need a wedding photographer because digital cameras are so cheap and everyone has got one in one form or another. It is easy to think we can save X amount of money if "Uncle bob takes the photographs" because he has got one of those big Cannon or Nikon cameras and anyway all you do is point the thing and it does everything for you. Not true! That would be your first mistake. Uncle Bob taking nice landscape photographs or a few snaps at a family party does not a wedding photographer make. Would he be able to take professional photographs in a dark church, Capture just the right moments at the right time ( you only get one chance to take the photo), organize a 100 people for the group photos or take control of the bride and groom portrait shooting when its wet or windy outside? An experienced wedding photographer will take those situations in his/her stride and produce professional photographs at the end of it that you can treasure forever.

Finding a good wedding photographer might take a bit of time but will be well worth it. They will discuss your wedding day with you. Talk to you about what sort of photographs you would like, show you their portfolio or albums so you can get a few ideas and generally help you organize and plan that part of you day. On your Wedding day it is great to know you have somebody you can trust taking your photographs so you can enjoy every moment of it . Remember the photographs last forever so let Uncle Bob have a drink and hire a wedding photographer. You deserve it.
