One of the biggest challenges that can occur with those who drink alcohol is having the will power to stop after just a few drinks, instead of ending up on a "bender" that ultimately results in a horrible hangover the next day.
The challenge with making a decision to call it a night when in full drinking flow, is that one is probably not in a state to make a sensible rational decision about what happens next on account that they have been drinking alcohol.

You will likely be unsuccessful at relying upon your judgement later after you have been drinking because drinking clouds your judgement and decision making abilities.
