Universal Truths· Love your neighbor as yourself. To thine own self be true. There is no freedom without responsibility. Do onto others as you would have them do onto you. Love conquers all.

In the school of life we encounter many teachers and opportunities to learn and grow. This is true for all human beings. The universal truths above are expressed by and taught by the greatest thinker mankind has ever known, Jesus Christ, Lao-Tsu, Mohammad, Buddah, Gurdjieff, Krishnamurti, Gahndi and Martin Luther King to name a few.

In all religions, these universal truths are among the top beliefs. While we know about these truths, we rarely live them. Easy to say and hard to do. These truths are easy to verbalize and hard to put into practice? Learning in your inner most soul is the challenging path to real growth and balance. We also learn from others in our lives, family members, teachers, friends and enemies.

Use every encounter in your life as a teacher, an opportunity to learn and grow. They are like mirrors reflecting back to us who we are and what we do and how it impacts others. These universal truths are the secret keys to living your life from a deeper place more connected to universal wisdom.

When we all live our lives better, then we can not only change ourselves, maybe we can change the world.

Staying Balanced

You have choice over the direction of your life. You are the captain of your ship. The only limits you have are the ones you set for yourself. You are the creator of your destiny. You create your own reality.

By believing in yourself, you can go beyond your old boundaries and change your world, maybe change the world. Then you will realize that you have the power to make your life be as wonderful as you want it to be.I often hear that growing up is no fun - you can't play and have fun anymore, like you did when you were a kid.

The opposite is true. When you are self-confidant and spontaneous, you can have more fun than you ever realized you were capable of having. The feelings of accomplishment when a task is completed, giving back and helping someone in need, even a smile can brighten someone's day.

Don't waste your life. Clean up old business, learn from your mistakes, monitor your progress, treat yourself with love and gentleness, and stay conscious. Examine your strengths, look at your talents make a list of your interests, set some goals then watch how your creativity can change your world. When you feel your self-slipping back into old dysfunctional or negative patterns, Stop, re-evaluate and get back on track. Walk down a new path.Stay positive, be receptive, and open-minded.
