Here are some free tips for beginners at golf. The best tip I can give you is to forget about swinging a golf club, and think about hitting the ball by swinging your arms only.

To practice these golf beginner free tips, go to a driving range, and start loosening up by swinging the club around your shoulders. Free your muscles up. Then, pick up a club and hold it near each end – with your hands about three feet apart – and put it horizontal. Then lift it up and back behind your neck so the club is across your back. Lean forward a little, and turn the club, and your shoulders back and forth a few times.

Really useful golf beginner free tips

Now your muscles are a bit freer than they were. Still, don't try to swing the club right back. First, you need to train your hands to guide the club so you actually hit the ball every time. To stop yourself overswinging, place your feet close together. Take the seven iron out of the bag and use that for this exercise.

Now, place the club behind the ball, and swing it back with the arms a little. Then, cock your wrists- actually if you stop swinging the club back, the momentum will cock your wrists – or break your wrists. Then, swing down and hit the ball.

If you are a complete beginner you may not be able to hit it. Just persevere. Do not take a full swing until you are confident of hitting the ball in this way – this is really hitting the ball with hand action, which is what you want to do. Your hands guide the club

You see, it doesn't matter how good your swing, if your hands can't guide the club so that it connects the ball in the middle, you will not hit the ball properly – or far.

Hit about 50 balls this way the first time, and you have really got it, hit 25 balls like this next time, and 25 with a fuller swing – still using the seven iron as before. Again, until you can hit a seven iron properly it is a waste of time using any other club - these are very important golf beginner free tips.
