Jeff Paul is back and for those of you that might have missed him you can see him on a wild infomercial that's currently airing on all the networks called, "Short Cuts to Internet Millions"

This guy Jeff Paul was the talk of the town back in the 90's as far as direct marketing was concerned. He has returned with an advertising vengeance in his high energy half an hour infomercial. This advertising bonanza contains the expected advertising flash, a blond and a brunette both wearing tops with plunging necklines, that seem to be flirting incessantly with the camera while delivering their scripted sales pitch.

I have to hand it to Mr. Paul, because he realizes that using sexy advertising will definitely work on a few, however, being someone that works on line and a woman, I was left wanting a bit more content and information. Instead I found this "Short Cuts to Internet Millions" to be more the starting point when considering working on line.

The Jeff Paul story is actually a very poignant success story. Back in the 90's he was able to pull himself out out some pretty big debt and build the monster direct marketing empire you see today. I must say that Jeff's advertising techniques are known by many Internet marketers to be some great oldies but goodies.

Jeff Paul advertises his "Short Cuts to Internet Millions" infomercial as using a turnkey proven system. This system includes ten free website businesses for $39.95, however, any seasoned marketer knows that a person could be given 100 website businesses and if they are not taught how to drive traffic these websites could be deemed worthless. Upon completing your purchase you will receive a huge box of tapes and notebooks that are in conjunction with the 10 FREE website businesses.

In my experience I have found in situations very similar to this one, that a ingenious sales tactic will happen just after the initial sale. It is a tactic called "up selling" and it is widely used in the industry. Shortly after your purchase you will be given additional options to move forward with your new business and these can run anywhere from $5,000 to $15,000.

They also stated in the "Short Cuts to Internet Millions" infomercial, that Jeff Paul's program is as easy as working with email, simply point and click and if the two girls in the infomercial can do it anyone can. In Jeff's infomercial they go on to say that a business can be started with no money, no computer knowledge, and no computer. Personally I can't think of any on line business that could survive with out any one of these components.

In conclusion, Jeff Paul's program was good in it's day, however, today's Internet market place must be cutting edge. New software technologies are moving faster than ever, so you might want to keep that in mind and choose an online business wisely. It's always a good idea to make sure that training and support are included with any on line business program or system as well.
