Embroidered childrens wear can enhance the acceptability of the product to children. Small children perceive the small things that adults tend to ignore. The embroidery on the dresses can easily catch their attention and fancy.

Dresses embroidered with images and messages that children like are more likely to find favor with them. Small children might like brightly colored patterns, flower patterns, animals and so on. Older children might like catchy messages, space ships and such.

Embroidered children's wear such as t-shirts, polo shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, rugby shirts, cardigans, fleeces and caps make children more happy than plain wear.

Embroidering for School Uniforms

School uniforms use different kinds of dresses embroidered with the school logo and name. Stylishly done, the embroidery can brand the school favorably in the minds of those who see it.

Traditionally, shirts, pants and skirts were the dresses selected as school uniforms. These days, children rarely wear these standard shirts and skirts outside school. This means that parents have to get two kinds of clothes for their children - ordinary wear and school wear. This might be a problem for needy parents.

Many schools have begun to use casual wear as uniforms. This practice is more likely to make uniforms acceptable to parents. School uniforms is an issue that is being debated much and we look at a few relevant issues in the next section.

Why School Uniforms?

School uniforms can help children identify themselves with the school and their schoolmates. This is better than identifying with outside gangs with their own kinds of dressing and other paraphernalia. The school community is a better community than gangs with strange rituals.

Standardized school uniforms eliminate the need for clothes policing such as checking the length of shorts. It also becomes easier to identify outsiders at school premises. Uniform dressing can also eliminate the problem of privileged children with flashy clothes attracting the undesirable attention of some of their more aggressive schoolmates.

There is some resistance to making school uniforms obligatory. Arguments are advanced against it on religious grounds, freedom of expression grounds, higher costs and so on.

To overcome such objections, schools often choose more commonly worn casual wear as their uniforms. Needy parents can be subsidized so that they can afford uniforms for their children. Children can also be allowed to pin badges on their uniforms for acceptable kinds of free expression. Religious sentiments can be catered to while formulating the uniform regulations.

Conclusion

Embroidered children's wear such as t-shirts, polo shirts and caps, among others, is more likely to catch children's fancy and make them happier with their dresses. School uniforms also use embroidered childrens wear.

There is some debate going on about school uniforms being made compulsory. We looked at some issues in this connection.
