Despite having several critics blasting them off and an FBI warning issued against them, it is a fact that Hyip investment continues to be one of the most sought after investment options in the world.

HYIP or High Yield Investment Programs are somewhat similar to a pyramid scheme and accept extremely low deposits while promising astoundingly high returns. Very little information regarding the location, type of investment and the risk involved is divulged to the investor.

Every HYIP has a minimum investment amount that needs to be invested and a term for which the amount needs to be invested. The returns typically vary according to the amount invested and the time for which it is invested.

HYIP monitors

The growing unrest amongst people who had lost a lot of their money in Ponzi schemes have led HYIP to resort to newer tactics to promote their businesses. HYIP monitors are one of them.

An HYIP monitor is a website that lists every HYIP for a small listing fee. This fee is then invested into that very HYIP program. Then depending on whether the HYIP monitor website receives the money specified in the terms and conditions of the program, the company is listed as a scam/non paying or paying website.

Other customers of the HYIP can also post comments and reviews on factors like payment and responsiveness of an HYIP. Then depending on the rating of the HYIP, it receives higher or lower rankings on the monitor website.

How it works

In most of the cases, the people who invest in an HYIP are the ones who are looking for high returns and quick cash. But this very desperation is what leads them to a scam.

Can you imagine people investing in an HYIP that claims that they are buying bank notes with their money?

So if and when you are planning to invest in an HYIP, make sure that you conduct a lot of research and do not invest a huge amount.
