Success in your business is depended upon several factors but one of the main reasons for achieving maximum heights is choosing winners for your network marketing business. A winner is anyone who sincerely exerts him or herself in activities that have been committed upon. They give their all and will only rest after that have done the best that they could have possibly done. But because these individuals are not always easily recognized how do you locate them?
Depending on your marketing efforts, some will locate you. This is simply because winners have a desire to achieve and will frequently have goals set in place for themselves and their families. And even if they do not already have goals they have a sincere desire to change their present situation and this is probably rule number one in choosing a winner for your network marketing business. Desire is like the fuel which will shoot a rocket to the moon.
As a marketer you must realize that some will come into your business with skills already …some probably having more than you. But you still, while prospecting, want to be sure that your winner is practical and is committed to being coachable for the rest of his life. As we can presently see, times and business strategies change. To ensure that your business stays progressive it is wise to have individuals on your team who will, for example, happily sit through a skill training session.
You can never really know with the utmost assurance what a person is going to do once they are in your business. Life and situations for everyone is different but it would be clever of you to prospect from a blueprint or outline. Meaning, a model you can follow which will give you the highest quality return on your efforts. Be sure not to run out "blind folded" while prospecting because lots and lots of your time will be waisted on individuals who are the exact opposite of what you are looking for. Try to spend more of your time prospecting the right individuals and one way to accomplish that is by making yourself the hunted instead of the hunter.
Another trait to look for while trying to choose a winner for your network marketing business is an emotional healthy attitude. This type of trait is not readily noticeable because many can and will "put on face" and attempt to impress you with words of what they are capable of but at the drop of a hat are gone. Look for those that are sensible, level headed, and willing to give their situations a good overview when things are not moving in a desired direction for them.
Billion dollar businesses like Microsoft and Starbucks are built on the backs of qualified individuals. It is not uncommon for prospecting within these companies to take anywhere from all day to several days just on one POTENTIAL employee. I am not saying that your prospecting should be the same amount of time or even the same format but it should have the same value.
