Is there a place in this world which you consider safe apart from your own home? The answer is NO. No matter where you stay, you'll always want to feel safe. Various things are available to keep yourself protected. It is

comforting to know if one has several options when you consider personal safety, however, this is precisely the problem with self-defense--there are plenty of different self-protecting products on the market, it is hard to

choose one of them. Although there are several products, the most stable protection in the market is a pepper spray. Pepper sprays come in various sizes, shapes and forms and few are explained below so that you

can make the right choice.

I'm sure that plenty of you have known this kind of self-defense option, especially since it has become one of the chief products concerning protection for women; however, there are not many people who comprehend

how pepper spray works and the various types of pepper spray products. Among the most famous forms include the Mace Leather Plus with key ring. In spite of its small size, it offers huge protection and a great

punch.

Another pepper spray is a fountain pen pepper spray. What seems like an innocent fountain pen is really a very lethal weapon. A nozzle is hidden beneath the lid and, when depressed, can fire a spray for half of a

second that can reach 6 to 8 feet. This kind of pepper spray has merely ten shots. One other type of pepper spray is the original pepper spray canister. This traditional pepper spray is the most popular device you can

carry for protection. One to two ounces of pepper spray can be discharged by a single canister. You can fire from 12 feet away from the target.

It would not be a pleasant when sprayed with a can of pepper spray. There's got to be something in the pepper spray that makes it so unpleasant. Pepper spray comes from an oil called oleoresin capsicum which can

be found in pepper. Heat from the pepper spray is derived from this oil which is measured in SHUs or Scoville Heat Units. The higher the SHU is, the more lethal the pepper spray turns into. We will compare the SHU of

a pepper spray with that of the Habanero pepper which is the hottest pepper known to man. One Habanero pepper contains a heat value of 325,000 SHU. There are around 2,000,000 to 5,000,000 SHU in other pepper

sprays. Thus, now you understand why they are potent weapons for self-defense.

Pepper sprays are illegal in few states and the details are right here:
