India is the land of heritage, ancient civilization, diverse cultures, vibrant people, different languages, Thar Desert, palaces, forts, temples, sandy beaches, backwaters, dense forests and the Great Himalayas. This is the only country which offers a destination for every traveler. India is basically divided into five parts and these are south India, north India, west India, east India and central India. India is subdivided into 28 states, 6 union territories and a National Capital Territory.
North India – North India is the only single part of whole India which is very rich and healthy in terms of tourist attractions. This part of India is enriched with different cultures, religions, marvelous monuments, immense wildlife parks and sanctuaries, holy rivers, majestic Himalayas, and diversified climate conditions. North India touches the borders of Pakistan, China, Nepal and Bhutan. One can take pleasure and make his trip memorable while wandering in the breathtaking Himalaya Mountain in the states of Himachal Pradesh and Kashmir, the agriculturally rich plains of Punjab, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh. This region is also known for its old and unique rich culture, hues-dance, music, food, costumes, languages, customs and festivals. The origin of all sacred rivers like Ganga and Yamuna is also from northern India.

South India – South India is that part of India which touches the Indian Ocean and is rich in wildlife, flora and fauna, beaches, backwaters, yoga, ayurveda and temples. Geographically, South India is a vast triangular peninsula, bounded by the Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal. Narmada River is the river which is boundary between northern and southern India. There are many more rivers in South India including Godavari, Krishna, and Kaveri. This region is also known for its culture, temples, festivals and dance. The dance forms of South India are Bharathanatyam, Kuchipudi and Mohiniaattam. Main languages of South India are Kannada, Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu.

West India – West India is supposed to extend from the Gujarat peninsula down to Goa and it is lined with some of India's best beaches. This region has a long mountain chain, the Western Ghats. This region is totally different in its landscape and culture from other parts of India. Here are lots of beautiful beaches, scenic hill stations, monuments and temples. The specialty of this region is Khajuraho temples which are well known and very much famous in all over the world for its architecture.

Central India – This region of India has only one major state, Madhya Pradesh which is surrounded by seven States, known as the heart of India. This place is known for its verdant forests which are rich in flora and fauna. These forests are also the shelter for ancient tribes. These tribes produce a variety of artistically executed handicrafts.
