What may seem like a fad to some people has become a way of life in our home and it really hasn't taken much effort to change it! I have been milling and baking from fresh milled grains for years now. I wanted to share about my favorite grain mill, the NutriMill. The NutriMill is by far the best home milling system that I have had the chance to use. It is large enough to mill for baking multiple items; it has a variable power and texture and it is fast and easy to use.

The ease of using the NutriMill is just astounding. Simply pour any dry grain (non oily) in the top, set the desired speed and turn the texture knob to the desired texture. It's so simple! By the time the NutriMill has finished, I've gathered the other ingredients needed and I have fresh, warm, whole wheat (or other grain) flour ready for healthy and nutritious baked goods.

The variable texture of the mill allows for multiple dry grains and legumes to be milled into flour. I am able to mill from the smallest wheat kernels to kidney beans in the same mill - even at the same time.

The NutriMill is an easily stored small kitchen appliance that. It is easily stored and stacked if the counter space is not always available. The hopper (bottom part where the flour collects) is large enough to store up to 20 cups of freshly milled flour.

Freshly milled flour is full of all the nutrients and vitamins as it was intended. Foods made with this flour are just better all the way around. The ease of the NutriMill has made incorporating whole grains into our diet possible. Just to prove how simple it is to use the NutriMill, look at our website at: http://www.grainmiller.com. At the bottom of the page, the entitled "Making Whole Wheat Pizza Crust, part 1" shows just how easy it is to use the NutriMill. Not only have we added whole grains to our diet with ease, but I have also saved us money by using the NutriMill. No longer do we order out pizza each week or buy loaves of dead bread that cost $3.00. By milling corn for cornbread, beans to add more protein, and wheat for fluffy loaves of bread and countless other dry grains and beans we have altered our eating behavior for a more tasty and nutritious life. We couldn't have done it without the NutriMill.
