1. Start an errands business. There are people who will pay you to do things for them that they do not have time to do themselves. 2. Give piano lessons. Surprisingly, there is a real shortage of people who will offer piano lessons. Finding a piano teacher that can get through to a student is another problem. If you are good with kids, and enjoy teaching, this can be an excellent way to make money working at home.

3. Provide tutoring to students. You can do this in person or on the phone. You can set up a group class at the rec center where you can rent a space to do it, or you can do at your home. Go to the student's house to make it even more user-friendly for them. If you are good at subjects that the parents are not they will be willing to pay you to tutor their kids.
