In order for a company or a person to get recognized they need to do something that creates an impression in other people's minds. When we go to a friend’s house for dinner, and the lady of the house gives a thoughtful gift to your daughter, you would feel grateful and love your friends even more. Why? What the promotional product does is it gets the customers to notice your store, and remember it simply because of the gift. It could have been a cap, or a T shirt with your name and logo on it, but people will use it and sport it around, even if its just to let others know they got it for free. No matter what, others will notice, get curious and wander towards your store. You have thereby gained yourself a couple more customers. This has been found to be a neat marketing strategy, which is very effective, and one that works better than spending thousands on billboards and TV or outdoor advertisements.
