Spring break times which begin in late February and end in early April vary by jurisdiction and school. Most school will take a break in March so the number of student travelers is huge in every March, especially at these hot spots! This year, Cancun is on the top of hot destinations. Basically, Mexico is hot for students to do their spring things. Wonderful beaches, nightclubs and various shops sound very attractive. However, if you are going to enjoy a leisure spring break, you will not choose Cancun as your dream destination.
Niagara Falls Although it is busier than usual around here, you won’t be swallowed up by the crowd. Not like that in winter, the attractions and such will likely be open longer and take you time to enjoy more. However, Maid of the Mist, White Water Walk, Whirlpool Aero car and Whirlpool Jet boat will not be operating until April. You might meet snow there in March, so please bring coat and boots. Also take your sweaters, because the weather might be spring-like sometimes.
Las Vegas The first word comes to you is Casino? If under 21, you can not get into most of the casinos. But there are still few open for teenagers. If over 21, you have plenty of time to enjoy the nightlife in Vegas. But my suggestion is, don’t drink too much, don’t play roulette. There are tons of free things to do, aquariums, lion habitat, light shows, walk the strip, other animal habitats, pools. Enjoy this expensive city doesn’t mean you have to be rich!
It’s hot in Las Vegas; bring light, breathable clothes and good walking shoes.
San Francisco and Near Though it will be a little foggy, SF is quite adorable in March. Walking across the Golden Gate Bridge is one must-experienced thing. Take a city tour then go to Yosemite National Park.
Canada Going aboard is a great idea for spring break. Comparing hot Mexico, Canada might give you a more relaxing getaway. Keeping in mind: Returning to the US from Canada by air requires a passport. For American Citizen who ages 18 and under, a birth certificate is required.
