Cocoa Casino is a downloadable online casino running Rival Software. I read the Cocoa Casino Review at Gambling Gazette and thought I would give it a try.

Going to Cocoa Casino with a cable modem, the software can be downloaded in a minute and setup is as simple as one mouse click. Installation does change the font sizes on your computer screen when it runs so be prepared for large fonts. Nicely, however, it returns the screen size to its old setting upon exit. The software is easy to navigate and intuitive and there is help on every screen.

The games can be played for fun money or for real money and the $10 bonus offer just for downloading and signing up is a real enticement, but there are also numerous welcome bonuses as well.

There are 5 game categories to choose from: Slots, iSlots, Table Games, Video Poker, and Specialty Games. Each category has many types of games to choose from. I played for fun and started out with $2000 pretend money, which is twice the amount of fun money other casinos offer.

I played a few of the slots and found them pretty boring. The video slots were definitely more challenging than the 3-reel slots, thought the graphics on all of them are remarkable. The iSlots take quite a while to download when starting a new one, but the images are excellent and the games very enjoyable.

Moving on to table games, I tried playing blackjack which is actually something I know about and won a few fun bucks. There are a lot of table games and the graphics again are wonderful. Personally, I found this part of the casino the most fun, but it is all individual taste. I think I liked it best because I felt like I was playing with another person

After playing video poker and then Sudoku in the specialty games I decided I had seen enough. The bets can be very small if you want, allowing you to play for a long time. When done, the software can be removed in only a few seconds.

Compared to the casinos that use the Real Time Gaming software I found this software to be slow when downloading the iSlots and video poker games and it took up too much of my computer screen.
