For some women, being a plus size is no big deal to them, but when it comes to shopping for clothes, now that is a different matter. Though some accepts who and what they really are, clothes are still the biggest issue for them. Though clothes come in different sizes and shapes, some clothing line especially those branded clothing lines only comes with the sizes small and medium.
So there is the only problem of a plus sized woman. But there is a clothing line that came out with a complete set of sizes, especially the size of a plus sized woman and that is the apple bottoms clothing line.
The apple bottoms is a clothing line for women designed by rapper/artist Nelly. The brand’s name was derived from a term for a woman with a large, rounded B-Hind.
Apart from being a famous rapper and artist, Cornell "Nelly" Hayes Jr. or simply Nelly is also a diversified entrepreneur that founded the apple bottoms clothing line. Nelly created the apple bottoms from his idea that "The clothes should fit a woman, not the woman fit the clothes."
Jeans in the apple bottoms collection are notorious for accentuating the female feature they're named after, the derriere, and signature details like apple-shaped back pockets.
The apple bottoms brand name, synonymous to the voluptuous behinds of target consumers, is meant to draw attention to the fact that not every woman has a supermodel figure. The jeans are flattering to women with curvy figures and are offered in a myriad of washes and rises.
The apple bottoms have helped many to overcome their problems of being a plus size, but aside from their problems, Nelly uses the success of his business such as the apple bottoms to fund a none profit organization called 4Sho4Kids and the Jes Us 4 Jackie Campaign, established to help his little sister's fight against leukemia and increase membership to the Bone Marrow Donor Registry.
