Have you ever been caught up in a late night infomercial? Has your heart started to beat faster as you imagine the possibilities of making a fortune online? Do you see the pictures of the beautiful beaches and picture yourself there? Do you think there is really a shortcut to get there?
Unfortunately, the answer is no. We all know that if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Recently I saw an infomercial for Jeff Paul's shortcut to internet millions and it stirred some emotions up inside of me. Now, I must say that I have not purchased his program for myself so I can't say for certain whether or not his websites that he builds for you are any good or not. However, I can say this. It is not as easy as the infomercial would lead you to believe.
Having a great website is, of course, a necessity in today's web-based economic world. But that is only the first of many steps needed to be successful online. You must promote the site and drive traffic to it. I am left wondering, how in the world can any one person, especially a newbie, have the time and ability to promote 10 different websites in the first month and be up to promoting 120 websites within a year? It would be nearly impossible. I'm sure that there are many people who have donated their hard-earned money to Jeff Paul just to find that out for themselves, don't be one of them.
What is needed to be successful online? The first step is to find the right product that you want to promote. If you are getting involved in an mlm type of business, you must find a business that promotes a "stand alone product," which means a product that a person would buy with or without having an income opportunity attached to it. There are far too many companies out there that are selling pure fluff, they may make some money initially, but it will never be a strong business that continues to profit and grow year after year. The best products are something tangible, not products that are purely somebody else's life or business philosophy.
So, my friends, please don't get caught up in any of the hype, there's a lot more to making money online than just having a bunch of different websites. Do your homework and find a product that you can believe in, one that you would be proud to sell to your own family and friends, anything less is setting yourself up for failure.
