Virtually every type of swimming pool has some sort or another of a surface that contains the water that is in it. For most above ground pools it is the pool liner that is assigned this task, although there are some styles of above ground pools that don't use a liner.
Just as with all other aspects of above ground pools, above ground pool liners have gone through many improvements over the past several years. The most notable improvement is that better plastics have been developed that are stronger, longer lasting and stand up to heavy use far better then above ground pool liners of the past.
As far as size goes, above ground pool liners can be manufactured to almost any size imaginable just as with above ground pool themselves. In fact, this is one of the many benefits that above ground pools have over built in pools, because having an extra-large lap pool installed at a training facility for instance, is so much easier faster and economical then having a standard extra-large built in pool installed.
Another plus for above ground pool liners is that they require virtually no maintenance. Built in pools on the other hand require constant maintenance and while there are automatic pool cleaners that do most of it for you someone still has to tend to the edging, any tiles and plenty of other surfaces that the automatic cleaner can't reach.
So if you are considering having a pool of any size installed at your home or facility and you don't need more work stacked on you then there already is then an above ground pool with a maintenance free liner may be just what you are looking for.
If you haven't yet seen a modern above ground pool, fully installed with a wrap around deck then you will be amazed at the transformations that they have undergone in recent years when you do.
