It would also be helpful if you provide helpful and useful content to other members of the board, and ensure that you post as often as possible too.

If you join and use a social networking Web site that permits you to create and share your Web site and bookmark links as well, then you'll surely prefer to link to your site, blog, and affiliate sales pages of course. You only need to ensure that you put a brief description on the links if you're able to, since this will aid in helping you entice other members to view what you are linking to.
