In order to acquire business success and personal success you have to have a healthy mindset. So, many people have not learned their lessons by their past mistakes and therefore, will have to repeat the lesson over and over until the lesson is learned. So, why is this important in a home-based business?

Well, it is important because it affects you, who you are, and how you are being in your relationships with other people. So, have you ever wondered how challenges and heartaches in your life could possibly serve you and have you looked for the lesson in them?  Well, the challenges we have throughout our lives are really "gifts". We have an incredible amount of opportunities every day to learn from our problems and to allow them to be our greatest teacher!

A success secret is to imagine, right now, that your greatest challenge is actually your friend and is trying to teach you something.  I realize that this may be a stretch for many of you, but just try it and notice what comes up for you. Can you look at the deeper meaning in the challenge and see the lesson it may be trying to show you? 

From my experience, at times when I’ve been going through the challenge, it’s been difficult to see the lesson in the midst of chaos. However, I have learned to trust that my spiritual source is working all things for my good although sometimes it’s been years afterwards when I finally saw the lesson and the gift. I realized that there was a divine plan in the pain I’d experienced throughout the time of the challenge.

In my work with hundreds of students, as a school counselor, and adults in the home-business industry I’ve noticed that FEAR has been the common theme---fear of failing, fear of succeeding, fear of taking risks, fear of talking to people, and many other fears.

So, let's take a closer look at fear and see if we can understand it in a slightly different way. If people could just realize that fear is just an ILLUSION they would move through it easily and effortlessly.  However, since most people do experience fear sometimes, it’s important that we look at it.

Looking at these fears is one of secrets to success and it is important to heal the feeling of fear. Fear is an opportunity for you to evolve, to see it with new eyes, and to listen with a keen sense of hearing as a "success strategy".  Fear allows you to see where and how you limit yourself and it presents an opportunity to find new ways to transform it into empowerment. 

When we feel fear in our daily lives, it is usually an indication that we are thinking (up in our heads) about past experiences or worrying about the future.  We are attempting to protect ourselves from a perceived harm or uncomfortable situation.  When we experience fear it is because we’re disconnected to the present moment and are not allowing ourselves to "go with the flow". Mostly, we do not trust ourselves enough to go through this process. You don’t trust yourself to be able to handle it and you don’t believe you have the capability of handling yourself in this fear.
