Sales success will contribute to your desire to leave your family and the world a legacy. A legacy is a gift and I wonder if other people have a desire to leave their families a legacy. I would be interested in knowing. I have a real desire to be very successful financially so that I can leave my son, granddaughter, and daughter-in-law an inheritance. 

In the spring and summer of 2001, I experienced some fantastic transformational trainings in Dallas that truly impacted my life. I recommend that everybody experience this type of transformational! They consisted of Basic, Advanced, and the Leadership Program which was a 90-day coaching program of "being stretched". Every morning we had to call our coach and give him our intentions and goals for that day. We also had all kinds of assignments to do that truly did "stretch me"! My coaching call session was at 5:00 AM---6 days a week! 

At the time I was a school counselor on summer vacation and I certainly did NOT want to get up at that time! I had a very negative attitude about getting up so early to talk to a coach that consistently pushed and stretched me! However, after two days I realized that I may as well change my attitude and use this early morning time for doing something constructive. So, I started going out for a 30-minute walk immediately after my coaching call… As it turned out it turned out to be a fantastic summer! 

One of our assignments was for our group to create a Legacy Project that could go on after we finished up this Leadership Program. As our success plan we created an art foundation where we literally went into homeless shelters, abused children homes, and runaway pregnant girls’ homes to help these troubled children to paint art as therapy and releasing their feelings. Then we held a silent auction and auctioned off their work to use it for charity towards these same homes.  We created thousands of dollars with our "Legacy Project" and it truly was such an inspiration to me and my team…. 

Now, as an entrepreneur and a professional network marketer, I want to create a legacy for my family. It truly is an inspiration for me to get up every morning and to see what I can do to make that happen. What is your desire? Do you want to leave a "legacy"? If so, why is achieving financial success and personal success important to you? How do you want to be remembered by the world? That should be a decision you commit to.
